Been in a baking mood lately...
so i decided to have a go at a pecan tart recipe I came across awhile back.
here are the cute little tart molds..
cleaned .. dried .. and ready for baking.
preparing the crust was a breeze! pressing the crust into the molds was a different story.. (this being my 1st attempt at baking pecan tarts - I must admit! I almost gave up! the crust def. was not beginner friendly!! but I forged on! I refused to be defeated by dough! lol)
next - filled the bottom of the crust with pecans .. spooned in the filling .. and sprinkled more pecans on top.
Baked @ 325 deg. for 25mins
and voila! pecan tarts!
yumyum good! but definitely not good for my expanding waistline! har!
